Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do I apply to go on exchange?You apply through the international office of your home University. The staff there will assess your eligiblilty for the program & contact the network with your nomination. Once nominated you will be required to complete the exchange application form for the Universtiy you wish to attend. How many Universities can I select?You can select only one universtiy to attend. If for some reason your chosen university is not available to you, the network will contact you requesting further preferences. When are the application deadlines?For UN students coming to Australia - Once per year in March (for either July study period or February study period) What are the semester study periods in Australia?Semesters in Australia run by the calendar year. Semester 1 runs from February - June and Semester 2 runs from July to November. When will I know if I was selected?The date you will receive your acceptance may vary slightly depending on your university, however the following dates provide a good guide: Where can I find information on what courses are available?The best place is the website of the host university you wish to study at. In addition, the AEN has an information sheet from each university that contains information that AEN exchange students would neet to know. Check the relevant page on our site (for example: www.aenonline.net/unstudents/macquarie) for the link to the information. If you need the courses to be in english, then please refer to our PDF document "Utrecht Network Courses taught in English" which is found on the AEN homepage.
